Over 50 acts playing at various venues over 3 days it’s a showcase of new music alongside some special guests.

The Musicosity Festival has been all about helping fans discover more live music and helping artists find their audience. With over 50 acts playing at various venues over 3 days in September it has been an opportunity to catch some great established artists, as well as serving as a showcase for up and coming talent.

Taking place over a weekend in September, Musicosity Festival Bournemouth coincides with start of the Autumn touring season, helping thousands of music lovers, residents and visitors get to know the artists and their music a little better and see some live music they might not otherwise have seen.

The Green Room Beach Marquee was a first for Bournemouth - live acoustic music on the beach - complete with a bar, food stalls and a very chilled out atmosphere in which to see some 'unplugged' performances from some of the evening acts and some special guests.

Musicosity Festival Adds New Beach Venue

Musicosity Festival Bournemouth makes its debut this September and has just confirmed a new venue situated on stunning Bournemouth beachfront.

The ‘Musicosity Green Room’ will be open to festival goers, visitors and residents from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th September, offering a unique seafront location with the chance to relax on the sand with live acoustic music from various artists.

Benjamin Francis Leftwich on Radio 1 playlist

Benjamin Francis Leftwich (Born 4 September 1989) is an English singer-songwriter from York. Leftwich began playing at the age of ten and grew up listening to The Rolling Stones and Nina Simone; later discovering Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, and Elliott Smith.

His latest single Box of Stones is releasing on 18 June 2011 but is available for a quick listen on Radio 1 playlist.

Last tickets released for Futures in Bournemouth

The last few tickets are now available for the Futures show in Bournemouth.

A four piece pop-rock outfit, FUTURES formed from the ashes of TONIGHT IS GOODBYE. Having supported the likes of Boyslikegirls and You Me At Six the band released their debuet mini album In March 2010 deciding to give it away. The Holiday was released free of charge as a covermount CD for Rocksound, leading the issue to becoming the biggest selling copy of the magazine in two years. The album was later made available for purchasing via the band's website www.wearefutures.co.uk.

Musicosity Festival Comes to Bournemouth

The South Coast will host a new live music festival this September when the Musicosity Festival Bournemouth makes it debut. The first of its kind in the town, the festival will take place at multiple venues, including O2 Academy Bournemouth and The Old Fire Station, over the first weekend of the month (Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th September). The event will kick start the live touring season and give thousands of music lovers, residents and visitors to the area the chance to discover more live music.
