August Burns Red is a christian metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The band formed in March of 2003 and quickly started playing shows around Lancaster. In 2004, the band was signed to CI Records and released an EP called Looks Fragile After All. After about another year of playing shows, the band was signed to solid state records in 2005 and released their debut full-length album, Thrill Seeker, on November 8th of that year.
