Shabazz Palaces
Mysterious hip-hop group from Seattle, WA led by "Butterfly" of Digable Planets. After releasing several recordings themselves or small time labels, in 2010 they contracted to release an ep with Sub Pop and have collaborated in recordings and on stage with artists such as Mc Silk, THEESatisfaction,. They deliver sincere and radical lyrics with sounds and beats that include sounds from around the world.
Kanye West
Kanye West is an American producer and rapper (born June 8, 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia). He began making beats and rapping circa 1996 when he formed the rap group GO GETTERS with Chicago natives GLC and Really Doe. He first gained nationwide popularity when he moved to New York and began producing tracks for popular artists such as Jay-Z, Twista, Mase, Talib Kweli and Alicia Keys. In 2004 he released his first solo album, The College Dropout, and has since released Late Registration (2005) and Graduation (2007).
Jay-Z
Shawn Corey Carter (born December 4, 1969 in Brooklyn, New York), is an american hip hop artist and former president and CEO of Def Jam and Roc-A-Fella Records. He is more commonly known as Jay-Z or by a variety of stage names including S. Carter, Jigga, Hova, Hov, and Young Hov. He is regarded as one of the most prolific and successful American rappers of the mid-90s and early 2000s and is known for his use of metaphors, freestyling abilities, word play, flow, and blending of street and popular hip hop.

Magnetic North
There are two artists with the name Magnetic North: 1) Magnetic North is a hip hop group that formed when Theresa Vu and Derek Khan were at UC Berkeley. They released a self-titled album in 2006 which can be found at http://www.magnetichiphop.com. 2) Magnetic North was a Bremerton, WA rock band formed in 1997 and lasted until 2003. It was fronted by John Boyce, Marshall and Harley Trotland, and Charlie Potter. They released two full length albums and toured with bands such as Third. "Intoxication Proclamation" was released in 2003, "The Only Constant Thing" was released in 2000.
Tyga
Michael Stevenson (born November 19, 1989 in Compton, California), better known by his stage name Tyga, is an American hip hop artist signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment and Decaydance. He is the cousin of Travis McCoy, lead vocalist of the group Gym Class Heroes. In 2006 he released his first mixtape, Young on Probation, and released his debut studio album, No Introduction, in 2008. He has since released a further six mixtapes...
DJ Format

There are at least two artists with this name. 1) M.E.D. aka Medaphoar is a hip hop MC who has recorded with Madlib, Wildchild, and Oh No. M.E.D's debut album was released on Stones Throw Records in 2005. Entitled Push Comes To Shove, the album features production from Madlib, J Dilla, Oh No (Madlib's younger brother), and Just Blaze. A CD entitled "Bang Ya Head" was released during Stones Throw's 2005 Tour and features M.E.D (known as Medaphoar) guest spots from 1998 to 2005.
M.E.D. made a dis track toward Canibus called "Lightwork."

SCREW is a visual kei band from Japan.
They originally started out in March 2006 under Speeddisk label and are now signed under the 'Indie PSC' label (PS COMPANY Co.,Ltd). SCREW expresses the concept that "everybody has darkness inside -- the poisonous chemicals of darkness have to be screwed out of the body." They were originally a four-piece band, but became a twin guitar band when Manabu joined in June 2007. At the start of 2010, their new bassist Rui (ex Jewel joined the band, after their previous bassist Yuuto left the band in the beginning of the year.
