F was a Punk band from Florida. They formed in 1982 in Florida and released their first 12-inch record You Are An E.P. a year later.

Peter Hook

Peter "Hooky" Hook (born February 13, 1956 in Salford, Lancashire) was the bass player for the English Post-Punk band Joy Division, and the techno/rock band New Order. Hook was a co-founder of Joy Division along with Bernard Sumner in the mid-70's. Together, they recruited vocalist Ian Curtis and drummer Stephen Morris to complete the quartet. The band reformed as New Order following Curtis' suicide.

Esperanza Spalding

Born in 1984, bassist, singer and composer Esperanza Spalding began playing in small jazz and blues venues around her hometown of Portland, Oregon. Soon after picking up the acoustic bass at the late age of 14, she helped form Noise for Pretend, an eclectic band fusing jazz and pop for which she sang and played bass (often simultaneously). The group signed with indie rock imprint Hush Records, which released two albums of their original compositions.

Erwin Schrott

Erwin Schrott (born 21 December 1972 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is an operatic bass-baritone, particularly known for his interpretation of the title role in Mozart's Don Giovanni. Schrott made his professional debut in Montevideo at the age of 22, singing Roucher in Andrea Chénier. Following a stint at the Teatro Municipal in Santiago, Chile, where he sang Timur in Turandot, Colline in La bohème, Sparafucile in Rigoletto and Ramfis in Aida, he won a scholarship to study in Italy.

Soundgarden

Soundgarden is a Seattle rock band who helped to define the sound that came to be called . Despite starting years earlier, and having a sound that more closely resembled Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin than their contemporaries, they are usually considered one of the "big four" of the '90s Seattle grunge bands, along with Alice in Chains, Nirvana and Pearl Jam. The band was formed in 1984 by Chris Cornell (vocals, and originally drums) and Hiro Yamamoto (bass), to be joined later by Kim Thayil (guitar) and Scott Sundquist (drums).

Thundercat

Thundercat is a pseudonym of Stephen Bruner, a member of legendary s Suicidal Tendencies (since 16 years of age), a protégé of Steven Ellison (aka Flying Lotus), virtuoso bassist, composer, producer and singer. Bruner has collaborated with many, including: a stint with German boy band No Curfew, jams with Snoop Dogg and Stanley Clarke. “I do believe that hip-hop can be the new jazz, and I’m helping create that”, Bruner said in an interview to Bass Player, in 2008.

Benga

Benga (real name Beni Uthman) is a uk music producer from Croydon, and is part of the Big Apple Records label. Being inspired by Wookie and an associate of producer Skream Benga released his debut 12", "Skank," in late 2002. A co-production with Skream called "The Judgement" appeared on Big Apple in early 2003, and then Benga began his own label — Benga Beats — and released the three-track 12" Benga Beats, Vol. 1 in 2004.

Skream

Skream is the electronic music producer and DJ Ollie Jones from Croydon, South London. One of dubstep's first and most prominent producers, he is often hailed as the 'ambassador' of the growing genre. Most famous outside the dubstep community for his crossover hit 'Midnight Request Line' released in 2005 on Tempa, he continues to churn out classics at an amazing rate, including his 'Skreamizm' vinyl series and a self-titled album, both also on the seminal Tempa record label.
